ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Electric Guitar – User Reviews and Complaints

The ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Electric Guitar is one of the most popular metal guitars. Read the facts below.

Feedback & Overview
Actual Customer Feedback:
"For metal/blues kind of stuff this fits like a glove. If you want something with more reach but the punch of this I would suggest a MH or M series guitar from ESP, I have played heavily on both of them and they have the same bite and more reach, but this has such an amazing body."

"A great, inexpensive guitar, perfect for the heavy guitarist. Its strong points are in attention to detail, from the locking tuners to the EMGs, to the ebony fretboard, perfect, nearly seamless, and beautiful. The only thing I have ever wished for on it is a tremelo system, but the tuning is so effortless without it that I think it's a fair trade off."

"This guitar has the perfect combination of EMG's, 81/60. It creates the best sound no matter what type of music you are looking for. If you want a clean, blue's sound, flip the switch up and use the neck pickup. If you want a modern metal sound used by bands such as Killswitch Engage, flip the switch down and use the bridge pickup. Also, the humbuckers work to perfection on this guitar as there is absolutely no feedback when you are not playing. No other guitar can even match up with the quality, sound, and feel of this guitar."

"Usually, I'm an Les Paul player, and this guitar has a lot of the LP feel (and same scale), although with superior ergonomics. It's quite a bit lighter than the LP, and the back is dished-out for comfort. Since the body is somewhat thinner, and the cutout is more toward the body, it's easier to reach the highest frets. The EMG pickups are favorites among metal players, but I find that they're actually very versatile; they also produce good clear tones -- which can extend well into the treble range (unlike many humbuckers)."

The ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Electric Guitar seems to be the perfect metal guitar, especially because of the EMG pickups. The guitar sounds great and has a beautiful finish. Highly recommended by a lot of guitar players.
