"I think it is a really good starting point for someone who has never played guitar before. Currently I am half way through the lessons in the intermediate section (took me about 2 months to get there) and I can play pretty much anything that only requires open chords. "I saw ads everywhere online for this software download. After a while I figured it must be pretty good considering all the great reviews it was getting. Your not going to be playing like Eric Clapton in a few weeks like the site claims but I guess that's just a sales pitch. Having said that you can tell a lot of time has been put into Jamorama by the people that make it. There are a ton of videos and sound files that come with it and that part of the download alone was worth the money to me simply because since I bought it I have learned so much."

Jamorama is primarily for beginner and intermediate guitar players. This course alone will not make you a guitar player like Eric Clapton or Jimi Hendrix, but it does provide you with a good base set of skills to work from. You will probably get more out of Learn and Master Guitar, but that course is a bit more expensive.
